The Stillman Valley Football Program

Stillman Valley is a small town located in northern Illinois, just south of Rockford, Illinois. For the past 22years, Stillman Valley has enjoyed great success in their football program. During the past 14 years, Stillman Valley has won 5 State Titles, been runner up once, reached the State Semi-Finals 3 additional years, won 8 Conference Titles, and has qualified for the playoffs for 18 of 23 years.

Stillman Valley is a public school whose current enrollment is approximately 600 students. The program has been based on several simple principles. First, the players spend a great deal of time in the weight room, as well as working on agilities and form running during the off-season in order to make themselves better athletes. Second, the coaching staff has dedicated themselves to making their teams as fundamentally sound as possible. The coaching staff over the years has developed systems for each area of teaching within the team. By having a progression of drills for each position, players are able to become better by practicing these techniques for four straight years in the program. The program also has a set offensive, defensive, and special teams system that it teaches in the same manner at all levels, by all coaches. By keeping things the same, players are able to progress and advance through the years, and as a result, become better players.

The DVDs that you can purchase, will show the same techniques and principles that are taught from day one in the Stillman program.
